This policy explains what personal information we hold when you shop with us, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
When you place an order we collect the details needed to fulfil it: your name, delivery address, email address and, where the courier requires it, a telephone number. The first is required to send you anything; the second is used in aggregate to see which listings people actually read.
Order details are used to pick, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you if something about it needs confirming. Marketing email is only sent to people who asked for it, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
The site sets a small number of cookies: one to remember your cart, one to remember whether you have already answered the cookie banner, and basic analytics to count visits. None of them build an advertising profile, and blocking them in your browser will not prevent checkout from working.
We share the minimum necessary with the companies that make an order happen — payment processing, delivery and transactional email. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider's own interface and never reach our servers, so we could not store them if we wanted to.
We keep order records only as long as we must for tax and accounting, and delete the rest. You can ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete anything that is not part of a required record. Requests sent to our contact address are handled within one business week.
You can ask for a copy of your personal data at any time and we will provide it in a readable form. Corrections are made as soon as we have confirmed the right value: a delivery address that has changed, a name spelled differently, an email you no longer use. There is no charge for a first request, and you do not need an account to make one — the order number from a confirmation email is enough for us to find you.
You can ask us to delete your details, and we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to keep for tax purposes. You can also object to marketing at any time, which stops the emails immediately and leaves your order history untouched. Unsubscribing from the newsletter never affects an order already placed.
We do not make automated decisions that affect your order. The only check of that kind is basic payment screening, and any block it raises is reviewed by a person who can reverse it — ask us and we will explain the reason in plain terms.
Orders are shipped worldwide, so a delivery address may be shared with a courier in another country. That transfer is limited to the address and contact details the carrier needs to complete the delivery, and nothing else travels with it.
Our products are sold to adults, and we do not ask for or knowingly keep information about children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and if you believe a child has placed an order or sent us details, contact us and we will remove the record.
When this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the top moves with it. We do not apply a new policy to an order that was placed under the old one.
Use the contact address printed in the footer for anything to do with your data. Replies come from someone who can see your order history, so you do not have to explain the situation twice.
