A paisley wide-leg trouser in a muted rose taupe — print, but quietly.
Paisley is difficult to do without looking like a scarf, and the trick is scale. This print is small and low-contrast — a rose taupe ground with the motif picked out a shade or two darker, so from a distance the trouser reads as a textured neutral and up close it has pattern. The leg is the same wide column we use across the range.
A fluid woven fabric with a light body and a soft, dry hand. Printed rather than woven this time, but printed in small repeat so the motif does not land awkwardly across the seams and the colour stays even from hip to hem. It has a light stretch that keeps the pull-on waist comfortable, and the matte finish stops the print from going shiny under indoor light.
Mid to high rise, covered elastic waist, straight body widening below the knee into a full hem — the same block as our plain wide-leg trouser, so if you know your size in that pair you know your size here. The rise sits on the hip bone on a 172 cm model. There is no pocket, for the same reason: a pocket bag shadows through fluid printed fabric more obviously than through a solid.
Small repeats go wrong at the seams, where the motif either jumps out of alignment or collides into a doubled shape. Each panel here is cut against a printed marker so the repeat continues across the side seam rather than breaking at it, and the front and back legs are cut from the same section of the print so the scale is identical left to right. That is slower, and it costs fabric, and it is why this print reads as designed rather than applied.
Model is 172 cm and wears S. Sizing follows the hip measurement, with about twenty-four centimetres of stretch in the elastic waist. As with all our wide-leg pull-ons, the inseam is listed in the chart — check it against a pair you already wear, because a two-centimetre difference changes whether you want a heel with these or not.
Low contrast at distance, pattern up close — the quiet way to wear paisley.
Panels cut against a printed marker so the motif continues across the side seam.
No pockets, so the print is not interrupted by a shadow on the thigh.

All measurements are taken flat with the garment laid out, in centimetres. Allow ±1.5 cm for hand-measured variation.
Wear it with a black fine-knit top so the trouser is the only pattern.
A dusty rose or taupe top extends the muted palette.
Add a silk camisole and a cropped jacket; the print holds its own.
Under a longline coat, the small repeat reads almost solid.
Machine wash cold inside out to protect the print, and hang to dry. Do not tumble dry — heat dulls printed wovens and will soften the drape. If you need to press, use a cool iron on the reverse only. Wash separately from pale solids for the first few cycles, and do not spot-treat with a strong bleaching agent.
No. It is a small repeat with a low-contrast ground, so the trouser reads as a textured neutral from a distance and as paisley when you look closely.
Yes. The panels are cut against a printed marker so the repeat continues across the seam rather than breaking at it.
It does not. On fluid printed fabric a pocket bag prints as a visible shadow, so we left them out to keep the leg clean.
